Brendan Rodgers appointed as manager of Scottish Premiership

Last month, Celtic won all four of their Scottish Premiership games; Brendan Rodgers’ first award since rejoining Celtic was secured with wins over Motherwell, Livingston, Dundee, and Rangers; Watch Sunday’s live Hearts vs. Celtic match on Sky Sports to see the Parkhead team lead the league by seven points. 

“I’m delighted to accept this award on behalf of the players and my backroom team,” Rodgers stated. “September has been a really good month for us, with some outstanding performances translating into excellent league results.

“Even though the season is young, everyone is becoming familiar with my methods, and the players’ camaraderie and effort have been amazing. “Despite some serious injury setbacks, the entire team has performed incredibly well, with numerous players making noteworthy contributions. Now that we have some challenging exams ahead of us, our main goal is to keep up the good work. Additionally, I would want to use this chance to once more express my gratitude to our supporters for the outstanding encouragement they have shown the squad.”

After seven victories and a draw, Celtic is the only elite team still unblemished ahead of their trip to Hearts on Sunday.
