Ireland to embark on another white-ball tour of Zimbabwe in 2023

Zimbabwe Cricket finalized the schedule for the white-ball series in December, and Ireland will be visiting Zimbabwe to play a bilateral series for the second time in 2023.

Beginning on December 7, the two sides will play a three-match T20I series. Sikandar Raza and Paul Stirling, the new full-time leaders of both teams, will be heading their teams in the series. Stirling was recently selected captain for both limited-overs formats, but Raza will only be leading in the Twenty20 Internationals.

Three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) are slated to take place on December 13, 15, and 17 after the T20I series. The Harare Sports Club will serve as the venue for all six games. Zimbabwe won the T20I series 2-1 earlier this year, but the ODI series ended in a draw 1-1 when the last ODI was postponed.

Before traveling to Zimbabwe for the series, Ireland will spend five days at a training camp in Spain from November 19–23. Cricket Ireland released the names of both white-ball squads on Wednesday, November 8.

The following players are in the T20I squad: Paul Stirling (captain), Mark Adair, Ross Adair, Andrew Balbirnie, Curtis Campher, Josh Little, Gareth Delany, George Dockrell, Neil Rock, Harry Tector, Lorcan Tucker, Theo van Woerkom, and Craig Young.
