India to select T20I squad vs Australia after World Cup Final

Ind vs Aus T20I: Ruturaj Gaikwad is the front-runner to captain the team after Hardik Pandya was injured and ruled out of the ODI World Cup.

The Indian team for the Twenty20 International series against Australia was supposed to be revealed following the ODI World Cup 2023 semifinal, but that hasn’t happened. What then is the cause? According to a report, the BCCI is reportedly holding off on making the news until after the ODI World Cup final is done. Most likely, the team would be revealed following the World Cup championship. Due to an injury, Hardik Pandya will not be playing in the ODI World Cup. Ruturaj Gaikwad is the likely candidate to captain the team. Head coach of the National Cricket Academy (NCA), VVS Laxman, is expected to go with the Indian team, along with the head coach of the senior team, Rahul Dravid, and other backroom staff members who are likely to receive a break, just like at the Asian Games.

The team will resemble the one that travelled to China for the Asian Games with the majority of the senior players absent. It should be mentioned that Dravid’s tenure as India’s head coach expires with the World Cup, albeit if the former captain of the team agrees to a contract extension, he would return for the trip to South Africa.

Russia Squad Prediction: Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Siraj, Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh, KL Rahul, Ishan Kishan, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Tilak Varma, Shubman Gill, Rinku Singh, Suryakumar Yadav, and Mohammed Siraj

The first Twenty20 International match is scheduled for November 23 in Vizag, while the last match is scheduled for December 3 in Bangalore.
